I had two surgeries by Dr. Chudik - bi-lateral rotator tears. The surgeries were perfect and the recovery and rehab went smoothly. Dr. Chudik is incredibly personable and he has a phenomenal bedside manner. He is very comforting and reassuring, which was a benefit as I had no idea what to expect post-surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Chudik. He is a fantastic surgeon!

Excellent. Finally found an MD who could tell me what was going on in my knee and willing to work with me on resolving the issue. Other two orthos I'd seen previously only wanted to give me gel injections.

I have had 3 surgeries on my knee to repair tears to my meniscus and remove a meniscal cyst. There is no other doctor I trust more than Dr. Chudik. He is very thorough and really explains all of your options...he does not tell you what you have to do, he gives options and tries many things before suggesting surgery! He is a wonderful surgeon with a great bedside manner! I already have and will continue to recommend him!

Dr. Chudik is an excellent Orthopedic Surgeon. I have had surgery on both a knee and shoulder from Dr. Chudik and the results were awesome to the point that both joints fully recovered with no lingering pain. I highly recommend Dr. Chudik to anyone with knee or shoulder issues.

Saw Dr.Chudik to evaluate my rotator cuff. Though he determined the need for rotator cuff surgery, Dr. Chudik was also attentive to the cervical disc issue I have. He has referred me to see his colleague, a spine surgeon , for evaluation- he will collaborate with him to determine which of my issue needs to be addressed first. I so appreciate his looking at the "whole picture" and endeavoring to come up with a plan that is in my best interest. Thankful to have found this great doc!

Dr. Chudik was very honest in talking about treatment of my shoulder. He considered my age and the condition of my shoulder and did not recommend surgery. I so totally agree even though I do have pain (cortisone did relieve it). I have already had 4 very major surgeries in my life (which were life threatening) and did relish the thought of another one. Hopefully the remaining years of my life will not see any surgery.

Dr. Chudik is a great doctor. I drive over an hour to see him. He takes the time to explain everything, answer questions and I do not feel rushed. I recommended him to a friend who was told he needed extensive surgery. Dr. Chudik told him it was absolutely unnecessary and PT should help. Recommend him 110%

After a year past my surgery, my shoulder is better than it has been in years and years. Dr. Chudik did an excellent job on the surgery and his staff was friendly and very supportive during my rehab. Anyone who is in need of rotator cuff surgery would be advised that Dr. Chudik is exceptionally qualified to give you back your ability to use your shoulder. I am very thankful that I had my surgery done and especially by Dr. Chudik. I'm like a new man. Thanks, Doctor!

Dr Chudik was terrific. I had a completely torn rotator cuff, he laid out all of the treatment options and implications. Once I decided on surgery, he laid out the full treatment protocol through the entire rehab process. I didn't realize how much I would appreciate the total picture until other people had the same surgery with a different doctor weren't told the length of time for rehab. Getting ready for pain free golf again, which before the surgery was painful. Thank you Dr. Chudik!

Dr. Chudik has now done both of my ACL surgeries. He makes you feel comfortable after finding out the bad news and really explains what he is going to do and how it will all happen. After my second surgery, we had some questions about things so we called his office and they told us he was out of the office for vacation. He called us off of his personal phone, and off of his personal time to make sure everything was okay. Such great experiences both times, great staff and even better doctor.

Dr. Chudik repaired my right shoulder in 2011 and my left shoulder in 2015. Both shoulders are working great compared to when they were injured. My right shoulder has no issues and my left shoulder to date(August 2016) does all basic requirements with a little weakness(Dr. Chudik told me full recovery is about a year long process). I really appreciate Dr. Chudik's dedication to shoulders and knees and will never go to any other surgeon if I ever need help with my shoulders and knees.

Where to start... 2 failed operations in 4 years. Once waited over an hour for my appointment, and was asked why I didn't tell anyone I was waiting so long! Had issues with my incision not healing correctly as it was not sewn up well, and now I have an extra large scar. Called to alert that for a second time my ligament had failed, as was told these things happen and you're going to have to come back in... No thanks.

Amazing! Spends time with you and is straightforward. I've had quite a few surgeries and appointment with other top ranked shoulder orthos who don't even come close to Dr Chudik's level of expertise and courtesy. Don't waste your time falling for the official team orthos of xxxxx sports teams that other groups advertise. See Chudik!

Can't begin to tell you how great I think Hinsdale Orthopaedics is and especially Dr. Chudik . I went to him after a disappointing experience with another group. Dr. Chudik was responsive, concerned and put a plan in place. His team could be a little repetitive asking the same questions over and over, at some point you get a little tired telling your story. A special shout out to his admin. asst. Karissa, very responsive in any questions I've had.

Dr. Chudik did a rotator cuff repair on my shoulder 9 months ago, and today, my arm feels great! I have all of my range of motion back and no pain. He was very patient in answering my list of at least 25 questions prior to scheduling my surgery, even drawing me pictures to show me what would be done. He was reassuring and made me feel confident that I would be OK. His physician assistants were knowledgeable and caring. I never felt rushed. I highly recommend Dr. Chudik.
