My mission is to serve and educate my patients in a friendly, firm, and compassionate way, while empowering them to take the best possible physical, emotional, and spiritual care of themselves and their families. I was born and raised in Queens, NY., and I went on to complete a 7- year combined undergraduate/medical program at C.U.N.Y. Medical School at City College of NY and N.Y.U. School of Medicine in 2001. I then completed training at the Mt. Sinai/Jamaica Hospital Family Practice Residency Program in 2004. As a National Health Service Corps scholar, I served in medically underserved areas of the Bronx, NY and Beacon, NY for most of my medical career prior to July, 2012. At that time, my wife and I decided to move (with our two sons) from Peekskill, NY to Suwanee, GA to plant new roots. As a Family Physician, I have taken great pride in emphasizing compassionate and complete medical care, with special attention to chronic disease management, preventative care at all ages, and the mental health care that often gets overlooked during busy and turbulent lives for many of my patients.
