Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Brown "Glaucoma is coming of age in terms of earlier diagnosis. Commonly the testing is done in a one-step fashion where we are evaluating predominantly the health of the optic nerve. And when we see that the optic nerve may have a predisposition or true damage, we then can institute therapy to stop that progressive damage so that the individual notices no vision loss in their lifetime. And I think that's really what our specialty is all about -helping those individuals with one of the very most precious senses that we have."

I visited Dr. Brown for glaucoma testing. The office was very organized, and the staff was welcoming and skilled. Dr. Brown was excellent about explaining everything--he is very down to earth and at the same time extremely knowledgeable.
