Dr. Boas truly cares for his patients, and takes the time to answer questions and address concerns. We absolutely love him and his staff, we see them every 2 months for the last 7 years and have never had an issue.

You will never find a more dedicated doctor. If you or your child has cystic fibrosis, there is no other doctor in the state of Illinois that even comes close to the level of care Dr. Boas provides. We have driven 2 hours each way for almost 20 years to see him. The wait may be a little long in the office, but there are reasons for that. Dr. Boas answers all questions throughly. That takes some time when you are dealing with complicated cases..
Dr. Boas is the most amazing doctor! You want him caring for your lungs! He is knowledgeable, understanding and dedicated. Appointments include many parts - breathing tests, updating records and the visit. What you get for your time is a doctor who is dedicated to your child's health, attentive to your individualized needs and care plan and a specialist who spend time on you! I a world that is always in a rush. The time given by Dr. B is remarkable.
Northbrook, IL |
The minimum wait time is about an hour for a 5 minute discussion, for a simple follow up. You sit and wait in the exam room, no one tells you why there is a wait. When you come out to get an update, you are told a "story" of an emergency.. The physician is arrogant and condescending with horrible bedside manners.

Dr. Boas is an amazing, brilliant doctor, with eminence knowledge and great bed side manor. We were nervous about potential asthma and/ or allergy issue my daughter has, and was able to pin point the issue, other doctors had a difficulty pin pointing, providing her with a much better, less medicated life. He provided us with information regarding our options for treatment. True expert and sought after in Pediatrics, but without the attitude.

in Barrington, IL |
Exuberant wait time (1 hour) to see the doctor for a 15 minute consultation. Spoken to as a child that didn't comprehend.
