Very thorough. Explains options and potential outcomes very well. Steve has done both of my knees, including the robotic procedure for the most recent one (2021; 1st one done in 2016). All went well and I was playing volleyball 2 months after the 1st one was done; COVID shut down possibility of volleyball for the 2021 surgery, but I probably could have played after 3 months this time. Very pleased with the outcomes, his skills and demeanor!

It was particularly busy on the day of my appointment. Staff doesn’t seem to have worked out their efficiency. Assistants are fairly aloof when not in the presence of the doctor. Dr Boardman seemed a bit uncomfortable. However, I can tell he is a fine physician, knowledgeable of his craft. He answered questions adequately and he seems to care for patients. This was a preliminary visit so 4.5 stars.

Would never recommend this Dr. Boardman. After getting an MRI taken of my knee for chronic knee pain he told me he didn't see anything wrong in the MRI and I would just have to live with the pain and proceeded to walk out of the room. Needless to say 2 years later and I still have knee pain...

Excited to know that the left knee replacement will take place in September! Given the pain currently, will be glad to get on a path of recovery! Dr. Boardman took the time to listen to my situation and adjust his diagnosis accordingly ! I have had right knee replacement, and the results were excellent! Looking for the same quality care on the left knee!

Follow-up visit for a bad shoulder. Dr. Boardman's PA had given me a steroid shot in the shoulder and two days later it was at 100%. Dr. Boardman had done a torn rotator cuff surgery on me in 2007. It healed 100%. DR. Boardman's PA (sorry I can't remember her name) was very professional and friendly. Dr. Boardman was very professional and friendly, like usual!

My elderly father waited over an hour In a crowded waiting room, unable to remain 6’ from others during this pandemic, and received a three minute appointment. Disgusting and disappointing. I would not recommend anyone See this doctor or the ORA practice in Muscatine, and be subjected to that kind of health care.

Our experience was not good. My son broke his arm and the dr was not accommodating. Please save yourself the time and effort and go to someone else. The nurses and him did not care about our thoughts or feelings when it came to the surgery or the hard cast. They literally let my son scream while they were putting it on. And would not stop. It was horrible. Please go to someone that cares and has compassion for their patients

Staff was very polite and got me processed in a reasonable time. Whole the time I spent waiting to speak to the doctor was cumbersome, it's understandable because he had to review an MRI and x-rays that were taken prior to speaking with me.
