Misdiagnosed
I was told by Laura I had brain cancer March31st 2022. I ask her how long did I have to live? She said wait a minute I need to go look this up. While she is doing this I am calling my daughter who works at Aultman. I am devastated. She comes back in the room and said around 4 month's. As I am telling my daughter Laura said no no it could be a little longer. So she then said if you want you can do a Lumbar/ Spinal Tap that will show where the cancer started' I agreed' My Lumbar came back benign. NO BRAIN CANCER!! I was getting ready for hospice and telling my little granddaughters goodbye who are 8 years old. She put me in such a depressed state I am still there. When she was corrected about this meaning she wasn't to say anything until the test were back' and it wouldn't of been in her place to tell me. I went to UH and the Neurologist told me she had NO business to tell me anything like that' she overstepped her boundaries. The girl at the front desk was very rude and sarcastic!!

Dr Nam and the Nurse Practitioners are all wonderful! They are very welcoming and friendly! Over the past couple years however, I have noticed that the new office staff member have gotten meaner and less friendly unfortunately.

Dr. Steve Nam is a great physician. He genuinely interested in my health and takes time to engage in preventative care. When I have a health related issue, Dr. Steve Nam asks probing questions and partners with me to develop a plan to address the issue. Beyond this, the patient portal makes contacting Dr. Nam's office easy and efficient. I heartily recommend Dr. Steve Nam!

Never got to even see 'Dr. Steve'. The office and APN were: Unprofessional, Lacking in Patient - Office Staff Skills, Very Poor Communicators, No Computer Network Communication, Poor HIPA Knowledge. They leave you sitting -waiting for 30 min., while you can hear them all chatting (walls are very thin). At check-out they set phone down to whoever talking to while go through your history and more. Don't forget to sign/approve everything - "Don't bother to read it".

In my 40s and started seeing Dr. Steve almost two years ago. I can't say enough good things about my experience so far. He takes time to understand any health issues and treats me from a holistic perspective. As someone who needs to lose weight, he is very honest and direct about holding me accountable and works to help me change lifestyle before prescribing more medications. I would concur with some others who say that the office can be disorganized at times, but generally speaking no worse than others.

Dr. Nam has been my primary doctor (and my husband's too) for several years now, and we couldn't be more pleased. He's so caring, attentive, and doesn't rush you through an appointment - which is refreshing. I appreciate the fact that he stays current on the latest medical research (and wouldn't you want all your doctors to do that). I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Nam and his entire staff!

Dr Nam and his staff are very friendly and all genuinely put patient care first. I have been very happy with the amount of time Dr Nam and the nurse practitioners have spent with me. Sometimes afternoon appointments can run late, but it is for the good reason that they are spending time with the patients.

Didn't have the necessary knowledge and perspective, as well as, the competence and experience for my complicated medical issues. Was referred to a specialist who had been retired for years. His father, who was my physician for a decade till he retired, was the exact opposite of this young doctor.

He treated my father for years. Not only did he misdiagnose one of my injuries and prescribed too high of a dose of painkillers resulting in an ulcer but never took my dad’s illness seriously and it resulted in his untimely and preventable death.
