Dr. Mora says...

Dr. Mora has extensive training and experience taking care of sports related trauma and arthritis.  He is a native of Orange County. Dr. Mora's long-term goal as a young man was to establish an Orthopaedic surgery practice close to his roots in Orange County. His vision of becoming an Orthopaedic Surgeon was borne out of his own personal experience as a young patient requiring numerous surgeries following a car accident. He firmly believes that these past experiences as a patient now allow him to empathize, understand and bond with his patients in a very unique way.

He graduated from Anaheim High School and the completed his medical school training at the University of California Irvine (UCI).  While at UCI School of Medicine he finished in the top of his class with AOA Medical Society honors. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery training at the University of Southern California (USC/LAC) Medical Center where he gained extensive experience taking care of high energy trauma and complex fractures. He rounded off his surgical training and refined his surgical skills with a Sportsmedicine, Shoulder, Knee and Cartilage Fellowship at the Santa Monica Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine group. He stays on top of cutting edge technology through his membership with the Arthroscopy Association of North America.  He takes pride in treating injuries both operatively and non-operatively.  He has a special interest in Orthobiological treatments including Platelet Rich Plasma and Bone Marrow Derived Stem Cell Injections.

Dr. Mora is in private practice as La Veta Orthopaedic Associates in the City of Orange.

Dr. Mora's family heritage is Peruvian. He speaks fluent Spanish.
