5 STARS for Dr. Waterbrook, his office personnel and Grass Valley Surgical Center. From beginning to end I was treated with grace and respect by all the nurses and doctors. Two weeks after hernia surgery I'm back to normal and better than ever. I am so glad that I chose Dr. Waterbrook and would certainly use him again.

Dr. W was my surgeon. He was easy to get along with right from the start. He explained the procedure very carefully. I trusted him. I did not see him before I got released and was not given anything for pain. I tried to contact him. Finally another doctor wrote a script for me. A few days later I woke up in extreme pain. I called Dr. W several times for help. He did not respond so I called 911. An ambulance responded. He is an excellent Dr. but needs work on patient communication post surgery

I was very impressed with Dr. Waterbrook and his staff. They have been friendly, helpful, kind and concerned. My upcoming FINAL surgery is not until the 27th of this month. I am confident that the Dr. will continue to work his magic. Thank you Tammy, Sarah and Dr. W.

The reason I did not give a 5 star is because my 92yr old mother opted out having colon surgery, so I could not honestly rate his surgical skills. But the office accommodated a family of 4 along with "mom" allowing us all to hear options, express questions and come to a conclusion that he also supported us in. We all appreciated his clear honest explanation along with his gentile compassion.

His 'halo' is slipping---badly. I went to see him on January 4th with great expectations and I left feeling deflated and in shock. He was overly blunt which did nothing for my confidence in him, the procedure, or myself. His assistant was almost rude. She didn't want to explain anything in lay person's terms. They said they would refer me to a cardiologist in in Auburn for clearance. It's now the 20th of January and not a single call from their office since!!!
