Best oral surgeon
Dr. Turella and his staff are friendly, caring, and professional. The office and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Appreciate the latest in imaging and technology. Consultation was very thorough and detailed, and didn't feel hurried. Surgery day and follow-up calls from the office were very thorough and caring as well. Will highly recommend Dr. Turella, great oral surgeon and all around experience.

Goodbye Problem Tooth
Dr. Turella was very respectful and friendly. He did a good job with his explanation of the work he was about to do. He and his assistant, Kim made me feel very comfortable despite the fact that I was otherwise down about losing a functioning (but unhealthy) tooth that day. They made sure I understood their process and generously took the time to advise me on how to best handle the healing process. They even phoned me later in the day to make sure I was getting along okay. I thought he and his whole staff were exceptional.

Fair only. He did not recognize an infection. I insisted he give me antibiotics and I felt better n 18 hours, after a week of phone calls and pain. Sadly not my first extraction, so I had the experience of what I should and should not be feeling. I was not believed for that miserable week. As a medical provider, I do pay attention to my patients telling me something is different or not right. In this community we have no choices, but I would go to Sequim if I needed an OMFS.

I've been seeing Dr. Turella for about 2 years working on implants. He is kind, honest, and gives me his full attention at every visit. His team is friendly and professional. I also love that it is super clean and organized. I've had many bad experiences and put off care for years because I was scared. Dr. Turella and his team make me feel safe and comfortable. I'm grateful to have access to a high level of care close to home.

I had an extraction , and all went well after the initial bleeding. I was called back 3 times, which I appreciated. The only complaint I have is that I was NOT informed about the black staining caused by the prescription Peridex. I followed all the post-operative instructions, and after the 2 weeks i discovered my teeth were getting black and the tongue too. Had I known about this I would have monitored it carefully. I could have rinsed with Peroxide instead of Peridex. I am trying (unsucessfully) to remove the stains. I just had my teeth cleaned a month prior to the surgery, so I don't have that option soon. I'm trying whitentning toothpaste and brushing with soda. My tongue is getting sore from trying to remove the stains.

I had an abscess in an upper canine tooth and the infection was heading towards my brain. Dr. Turella assessed the situation, immediately pulled the tooth, made an incision for drainage and put me on antibiotics and pain meds. I was seriously ill and he recognized that. He also called me daily, sometimes 2 x a day for at least a week and had me come in to his office several times a week for follow up. I can't say enough positive about Dr. Turella and his Staff. I'm not out of the woods yet but I feel confident that Dr. Turella has me headed in the right direction.

We were on vacation to WA, from NC, and my daughter had an emergency; her wisdom teeth extraction site became horribly infected and swollen. Dr. Turella and his office allowed her to come into his office within an hour and have the infected site lacerated. The office and Dr. Turella were wonderful.
