Dr. Treacy did not listen to me at all, and brushed off all of my concerns. In a matter of a month I had 4 appointments with him and absolutely nothing was done or prescribed, I just kept coming back to have things checked. I understand doing less invasive options first, however when I inquired about what things looked like for down the road if we did not see any improvement, I was ignored and my questions were not answered. I was always rushed out of the room when I was in the middle of asking questions. When I showed any emotion, I was belittled for it. I was not talked to like I was even intelligent. I explained I needed to plan for how to get back to work because my livelihood depended on work, and he was not impressed that I had that concern. His office did not get treatments approved by insurance twice when I came in to have it, and was sent home with wasted time and trip, excuse being some staff members quit in his office, wonder why. Front staff wouldn't even wear masks!! Awful

Dr. Stephen Treacy is one of a kind and has been there for my family for three generations. He is caring, honest, and most importantly an excellent surgeon. My family and I have seeing him for a wide range of procedures including meniscus surgeries, sprained ankles, pulled hip flexor, knee replacement, rotator cuff surgery, and many broken bones. I would highly recommend and trust Dr. Stephen Treacy for myself, my family, and my grandchildren

I truly hope this message finds it's way to others in need. Doctor Treacy and his entire staff are the finest and most competent medical staff I have met in my seventy one years. They saw to it I was well taken care of and treated. The surgery was the best of my life and the recovery went better than anyone could imagine. I can't say enough how pleased I was with the entire experience. Dr. Treacy is the most gifted surgeon I have ever met and thank God he did my knee.

I have referred people to Dr. Treacy including my 93-yr-old mother-in-law. Dr. T believes in the most effective treatment with a conservative approach and is highly skilled to handle surgical repairs. I am fortunate Dr. T helped me by recommending PT initially as that's all my knees needed to become more functional and painfree.

Dr. Treacy has treated me for not only an elbow injury but a animal bite as well. He is very thorough in his examinations and follows through with an x-ray. He then goes over the results with you and makes sure if you have any questions he will address them. He also recently treated my granddaughter with an injury and I was very impressed the way he spoke to her, explaining her injury in a way that she could understand.

Update: Dr. Treacy has taken time out of his schedule to contact me directly regarding the bill I received from Chicagoland. He is trying to help me resolve the situation and was very upset that this occurred. He has changed how things are done in his office, to keep this from happening to others.

Over the past 8 years Dr. Treacy helped me with injuries to both of my knees. I recently had a Job site accident which required a serious ACL reconstruction. All options were thoroughly explained with mine being tailored to my life style needs. His consistent support during therapy made me feel he took my injury very personal, he was literally a phone call away for questions and concerns. I am now back to a job in full construction duties and leading my active family life.

My immediate concern was not addressed. The doctor did not listen. He ran off in a hurry w/o asking if I had questions. He sent me for tests for things I knew I did not have, and was talking about meds, more tests, and treatments. I had to make an appt with a different dr's office to see someone who took the time to listen to me, address my concerns, and made sure all of my questions were answered. Oh, and no meds, add'l tests, or followup needed. What a waste of time and money!
