Dr. Andrew Putman is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in the care of hand and upper extremity conditions. Dr. Putman's scope of services include arthritis in the upper extremity, tendon disorders in the hand and wrist, carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures of the wrist and elbow, trigger fingers, and tendon ruptures. Dr. Putman is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and obtained his undergraduate degree from Auburn University. During medical school at the Medical College of Georgia, he was inducted into the National Medical Honor Society, Alpha Omega Alpha. He went on to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency training at Atlanta Medical Center and completed fellowship training in hand surgery and microsurgery at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center. Dr. Putman and his wife Joy and their children live in Pawley's Island. Most of his time is spent keeping up with their two young children, but he also enjoys traveling, golf, and outdoor activities.
