Patients from throughout Austin, Texas benefit from his expertise in shoulder, elbow, and hand reconstruction, sports medicine, general orthopedics, and joint replacement surgery. Dr. Pearce earned his medical degree at Southwestern Medical School located in Dallas, TX. He went on to serve his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Pearce was also awarded fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and in hand surgery at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, both in New York City. Dr. Pearce is an expert in his field and has been repeatedly recognized by Austin Monthly magazine as one of Austin's Best Doctors. He has also been included in The Best Doctors, Inc. National Listings and awarded as a Texas Monthly Super Doctor for several years."

This content was provided by Dr. Pearce "My goal is to provide the highest quality orthopedic care in a compassonate and friendly manner.I want to establish a personal relationship with my patients much as my father did with his ,when Austin was a small town.Patients will interact with me ,not with a physician extender.Luckly, I am supported by a caring, friendly staff, many of whom have worked at the clinic for over 20 yrs.As a commitment my patients,I try to stay current with the ever-changing world of orthopedics , attempting to seperate true advancements from gimmicks and marketing ploys.As part of that commiment, I have done over 800 hours of continuing medical education over the past decade.As a commitment to my community, I have taken er call at Brackenridge for 26 years and plan to continue to do so."
