Dr. Stephen Longenecker is THE absolute best hip & knee replacement surgeon in PA. He performed both of my hip replacements (2005 & 2014). He also performed my mother, aunt and uncle's hip & knee replacements so he is the number one choice for us. He is brilliant, innovative and very compassionate. I am now able to walk, swim, run, etc. without pain. A skilled practitioner and surgeon, Dr. Longenecker has my unwavering gratitude for restoring my quality of life. Thank you, Dr. Longenecker !
in Reading, PA |
Had anterior hip replacement in November. Had several follow up appts. with soft tissue problems. I felt prepared for surgery but not for "after surgery" issues that arose. I feel the after process could be better explained as to what to expect. The hospital joint replacement class was a waste of time. Dr. Longenecker does listen but feel the joint replacement process could be updated with more useful information rather than a binder showing pictures of people getting in and out of cars.

Explains thoroughly what the problem is and what needs to be done. He was extremely gentle when he examined me. His staff is very patient and helpful. Over all this is a very nice practice!

Dr Longenecker Saw me for my knee in 6/2016 & stated because of my age (46) that he wanted a 2 nd opinion ? My Right knee is complete Bone on Bone & I'm a recent left leg amputee due to a work accident . It was confirmed that I need a full Knee Replacement I spoke with Dr Longenecker 3 weeks ago right before the July 4 th holiday & he said that he would take care of my knee.HIS OFFICE STAFF SAID THAT IM AT THE TOP OF HIS LIST I have the best insurance .IM HIGHLY Disappointed IN DR LONGENECKER!!!
