Dr. Dechter and his team are effecient and Dr. Dechter is especially skilled and highly effective in his treatments!
Absolute hero. This Dr. went above and beyond what we all have to come to expect from the medical system these days. He's easy to talk too, smart, detail orientated, warm and funny. Some of us with complex and longstanding conditions have a hard time getting out all the details in a visit and feel like the doctor is just going through the motions or stops listing at some point. Not the case with Dechter, he listens and adsorbs the details. If your looking for quality there's no need to look any further this is your guy. Clean office and a friendly staff with short appointment waits.
Cervical Epidural Steroid Injection procedure
My first time having an ESI.
I had really high anxiety before my procedure from listening to others in person and online that had this type of procedure. Of course, they all had different doctors.
My doctor and staff understood my anxiety concerns and talked me through procedure and suggested oral sedation to calm my nerves, which helped me tremendously!
Also, during procedure I used a deep breathing technique. The doctor warned me before hand every time before a pinch or pressure was coming, so I could breathe out. He finished fast, with short pressure after injection as medication dispersed, which went away in a just a few minutes.
Plus, I appreciate that the surgery centers doctor and staff took all precautions to ensure my safety during COVID-19.
Lastly, I highly recommend consulting with Dr. Stephen Dechter for Orthopedic care.
I was seeking help for post herpetic (post shingles) pain. He explained two non narcotic options, which I appreciated because I would like to avoid narcotics. He explained the treatments clearly. His office staff was helpful and the office was efficient and clean.
Dr. Dechter is a perfectionist... He has helped me every time I have been in there and everyone else I have recommended that they go see him. If anybody has anything negative to say about him, it is likely due to them not adhering to his recommendations and office practices or thinking he needs to get to know them personally to help them (IMO). In any select group of people you'll always find that one person who can't get along with anybody.
I've been seeing Dr Dechter for about a year. He listens and works on resolving pain issues. I was scared going to a pain clinic because of the stories I'd heard but was immediately put at ease with Dr Dechter. He's now left the Lynx office and would like to know where he is practicing to continue my care. Highly recommend him.
I have been seeing Dr Stephen Dechter over the last few months at the Pain Center in Kennewick, WA and after living in chronic pain for seven and a half years I was delighted to meet a doctor that really, finally helped me. I believe that he was truly on top of his 'game' so to speak and that he will be a great asset wherever he goes. I truly would recommend him to anyone and I would continue seeing him, if I was able. Thank you, Dr Dechter for all you did. Your efforts were greatly appreciated.
Dr Dechter always explains what he's doing and why. He asks me questions and listens, and he recommends treatment options, explaining his recommendations. He instills trust and confidence. I feel like I am in good hands. He treatments are always very effective, and I get the medication I need. He is direct, and is not the one to see, if you just want to feed a drug addiction. But I appreciate a straight shooter.
Dr Dechter is the most uncaring doctor I have ever been too. I went into each appointment being honest, always trying to take the best care of myself. Being a small business owner means everything too me. He could careless, never even too the time to get to know me or my situation. Now am facing loosing my business and everything I built and he told me to my face he didn't care. What happen to doctors caring about their patient and helping them get better to be able to have a quility of life.
I've been a patient of Dr. Dechter's for four months, and I can't speak highly enough of the care I have received from him and his staff. He is extremely knowledgeable, is willing to answer all my questions, and has bent over backwards to make sure I had all my procedures completed ahead of my surgery date. He and his staff have come in early and stayed late on my behalf, and they have gone above and beyond a level of care that is missing in many medical clinics. I would gladly recommend him.
Dr Dechter was patient, kind and very knowledgeable. He listened to my concerns and helped me to come up with a treatment plan that worked well for myself, my family and my employer. Dr Dechter's staff is always prompt and courteous anytime that I have needed to call in with questions or concerns. I have undergone a few procedures that were completed by Dr Dechter and every one of them has given me the ability to live my life with less pain. I highly recommend Dr Dechter to any and ALL!!
