In my experience, any negative reviews could not be further from my experience with Dr. Courtney and his staff. I am two weeks post op for a severely herniated L4/5 microdiskectomy. I was in severe pain for months prior to the surgery and am a new person today. I received multiple calls at home from Dr. Courtney's nurses checking on me post op and have received personal attention from Dr. Courtney. This is an experienced physician who cares, I never felt like a "number" here.
Dallas, TX |
Recommended anterior fusion of my lumbar. After three visits. Pain doctor recommended that I see a Neuro surgeon for my back. No surgery fixed with therapy and would never recommend him.
Plano, TX |
Excellent Surgeon and I recommend him to anyone who wants to be pain free!
Plano, TX |
I could not write in this space how the quality of my life has been greatly decreased since Dr. Courtney performed surgery on my lower lumbar several years ago. I can only due 1/4 of the things that I could do before the surgery. I went from very active and fun loving person, to my current life of disability. Before surgery he seemed like a caring physician, when things were not going as Dr. Courtney wanted, he turned a blind eye. Either do not go to him or if you have, get a second opinion!!

Outstanding service from the doctor and staff. Great bedside manners. Would not change my decision with selecting Dr. Courtney to perform my back surgery.
Do not go see Dr. Courtney. He does not care. I presented with lumbar back pain, with a history of lumbar back pain. Dr. Courtney listened to my symptoms and did not lay a finger on me. No stretching, no palpitation of the lower spine, not even a visual of the lower spine. I believe Dr. Courtney is more interested in making money through his side business, which manufactures and sells durable medical equipment, which creates a conflict of interest for his patients.
Frisco, TX |
Excellent surgeon! I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to be pain free!
Dallas, TX |
Absolutely horrible. If you want something to get fixed, find another surgeon.
