Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Claycomb "Dr. Stephen Claycomb is a Board Certified Pediatrician. He graduated from the University of Louisiana at  Monroe with a major in Pre Med and then attended University of Arkansas Medical School in Little Rock. He graduated in 1989 and did his residency in Pediatrics through the University of Texas at Hermann Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center and Lyndon B Johnson General Hospital in Houston, Texas. After his residency, he moved to Lebanon, Tennessee where he opened his own general pediatrics practice and remained there for 17 years. He decided to join Children’s International Medical Group to continue his love of taking care of children and to get back to Louisiana to be closer to family. He enjoys taking care of children of all ages and watching them grow into adults and starting their own families. Dr. Claycomb and his wife, Charlotte, have three children. The oldest two are attending college and the youngest will be in high school. He enjoys community involvement and can usually be found around a swimming pool.  He swam through college, is a member of the Arkansas Swimming Hall of Fame, and both of his boys swam through high school.  One currently swims for Western Kentucky University. "
