I like and trust Dr. Anesi. He was always willing to share his time and medical expertise. I'd been with this practice for 40 years (!) and when Dr. Anesi came on board he was welcomed. Unfortunately I moved and the distance became a difficulty, resulting in my attempt to find a doctor of similar qualities locally. If I were in real trouble with my eyes- my confidence in Stephen Anesi runs high.

He took a personal interest immediately and had his staff do several tests to confirm his recommendation. Then he sat with us in a special Patient Education room to review it. When asked for copy of his study, he immediately printed it out and handed it to me. Very cordial and factual. MERSI location is excellent for out-of-town patients in urban area with free parking AT the location (Unlike Will's Eye with horrendous traffic, no parking, no working portal and No family restrooms for blind)

unbelievably kind and informative. Talk to me, not at me. My appointment went well beyond office hours, I was never rushed all procedures were explained throughly. I have a complicated medical history which makes me challenging to come up with new treatment plans but he easily found a solution. I can't say enough about how amazing and kind he is.

I was with a large ophthalmic group and found it to be very "short but sweet" when meeting with the doctor. Whereas, Dr Anesi always had plenty of time to answer and explain everything. My cataract surgeries were very easy and very successful. And I am pleased with my improved vision. I have recommended Dr Anesi to friends and relatives, who have also had very successful treatment.

Dr. Anesi is professional, thorough, knowledgable, and down to earth. When I travel to my appointments, I get very nervous, but he reassures me that we will get this uveitis under control. I trust him and his knowledge and insight. Every time I come and leave I feel assured that I am in good hands and I am well taken care of. He is honest and kind and I know he cares about all his patients and his practice. I am so fortunate my eye doctor referred me here. They continue to take great care of me.

Dr. Anesi has been instrumental in helping me fight my Uveitis diagnosed in early 2014. Personable, professional, funny and reassuring are just some of the qualities he has demonstrated which have made an enormous positive difference in helping me understand and battle an often confusing seldom heard of affliction. I look forward to our visits as he has made them enjoyable under difficult circumstances and working with him and the stellar reputation of MERSI have given me hope for remission.
