I hate her, HATE! She never met or examined me but she told Cigna that lower back surgery is not medically necessary for me. There are days that I cannot get out of bed and days that I show up two hours late to work because of the pain. My L2, L3, L4, and L5 needs repaired and Stevie Wonder could look at the images of my back and tell you I need surgery. There was an elderly lady that insisted that I go ahead of her in line at the grocery store because she saw the pain that I'm in. Stephanie Landvater is not a doctor with any compassion for ailing people. She is nothing more than an insurance gold digger. Did I mention that I HATE her. I wish my pain upon her and everyone she cares about, because she sure doesn't care about my health.

Personally, I feel anyone that acts as a consulatant for an insurance company to approve/deny claims has an inherent conflict. Also seems to only support antiquated procedures. Anything within the last 10 years would be too “experimental”. Technology moves pretty fast. I would only trust a surgeon that is current with today’s technology and methods.

I have had three surgeries @ UVM & one @ Gifford with Dr Landvater I experienced an amazing difference. @ UVM either the doctor missed the target. afterwhich it was corrected by another UVM doctor . or the anastisist did not adjust for my indication of a resting 45 bph.( It took days before my head was clear) @ Gifford the entire team from check in to check out made sure everything was done right. I believe that my Giford experience was lead by example from Doc Landvater.
