Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Chou "Dr. Chou is not only a very well educated and trained physician and surgeon; she is also a very personable and caring doctor. She takes care of patients with all of her heart. She listens to patients, exams patients thoroughly, sharply analyzes test results, and executes treatment efficiently and effectively.  Dr. Chou also takes time to explain and educate patients, even during a very busy schedule. She explains to her patients regarding what have happened, what are the options and what are the pros and cons of each option. She also answers all the questions in a lay language. She is very thorough and meticulous. She will ask the test to be repeated if she feels the data are inconsistent. She will even sometimes perform tests herself to make sure it is accurate. She regularly review patients' charts and call patients after visit to update patients on the findings.  She is conservative on surgeries, although she is very good at it. Sincere, caring, skillful, honest, and personable are the characteristics of Dr. Chou and her office staff."

Fantastic ophthalmologist! Professionable, friendly, and knowledgeable. She was thorough and engaging. The only issue I had was in understanding her occasionally as she has a strong accent at times.

Disorganized/unprofessional. Have had to wait over an hour each time for appointments and then she repeats tests/exams from previous appointment because her & staff cannot find records. She answers personal phone calls while with patients. Does not give clear indication of what is the next steps...more
