Dr. Akers performed surgery on me in July 2018 - explained everything and got me through the procedure very well. She is also doing follow-up scans and notifies me if anything is amiss. She just arranged for a ct procedure which was handled very well and with great care. I highly recommend Dr. Akers as an oncologist.

This admit was 5/6 for in-house chemotherapy. I was treated with very professional care. I would highly recommend Dr. Akers. From my first appointment with her I knew that I was in competent hands. She explained the treatment plan prior to admission. I have seen her on rounds and she answers my questions.

I have never had a doctor as concerned, sympathetic, nice, and generous with her time as Dr. Akers. I just went through a very scary time, and she made it so easy and tolerable. I absolutely love Dr. Akers and would trust her with my life any time.
