I am a 49 year old male and a practicing Dentist for 20 years. I herniated L4-5 discs in an athletic event . Years of Dentistry and Dental surgery also had an impact on my back. Tried rest ,medications , PT, exercises ,acupuncture, Chiropractics and Epidural injections but the consistent nagging Sciatic nerve leg and lumbar pain never left me ! Dr.Prasad took the time and reviewed my MRI,CT and X rays with me and as I expected recommended Endoscopic Microdiskestomy to remove the herniated part of my disc. The one hour procedure was under general anesthesia and I woke up out of pain .incision is only 18 mm long. I could walk in one hour post op. Two weeks after my surgery I am 95% pain free.slight tightness remains. I highly recommend Dr.Prasad , and his team if you need Spinal Neurosurgery. Dr.Prasad and his NP.Melissa were kind , professional and helped me through this process . With advanced , modern surgical techniques there is no need to suffer from back pain any longer.

Dr. Prasad and his team were fantastic. I had emergency surgery April 15,2020 in the midst of this pandemic. The entire team at Jefferson did a great job with managing patient safety protocols. I can't thank Dr. Prasad enough for the level of care and the way I was treated. He addressed all my questions, and made me feel comfortable with my decision. I'm now 10 weeks in recovery and feeling great. I have zero regrets and would highly recommend Dr. Prasad to anyone faced with needing back surgery. Thank you for giving me my life back!!

I'm a 63 year old male who started suffering from spinal stenosis, which resulted in the crushing of the nerve leading from my L4 - L5 vertebrae to my right leg. Before I visited Dr. Prasad, I tried: physical therapy, pain killers, acupuncture, exercises, a spinal injection of a steroid....no notable relief. He correctly diagnosed the real problem, patiently and carefully explained the needed procedure and post-operative treatment. With his skilled staff, Dr. Prasad opened the area of the spine, noted above, and released the pressure on the nerves leading to both my right and left legs. I went from excruciating agony to total relief under his care. I will forever be thankful for his and his staff's expertise. He is all you could hope for in a doctor.

Excellent, excellent, excellent ! Great Dr. Would Highly recommend. He took a look at my MRI and knew I needed surgery ASAP. Saw him on Friday and had the surgery Monday. Explained everything in a way I could understand. The nurse practitioners and staff were great as well. Bedside manner is good too. Traveled an hour to see him but definitely was worth it. 1 year later and doing great !! To me he is the best !!

From the very beginning to a six month post op follow up I have only experienced the highest level of professionalism from not only Dr. Prasad but this extends to his entire staff. Once the decision was made to perform surgery it has been a stress free recovery. I highly recommend going through the process and accepting the decision of surgery. I have never been pain-free until I had the surgery. I highly recommend him

First, I had to wait for at least for an hour.the last time I visted he had asked me to get him the cd of the imaging . I prought him the cd put didn't give him the Radiology report even though I should trust him as a surgeon, so when I asked him what was wrong with me he said that he didn't see any thing in the cd even though the report had evidence that the cd had something in it.He deliberately hid the facts. when I told him that a professor did the imegeing he finally Admit it. Am wondering why all Work injury cases get treeted badly and unfairly? He ignored all of my symptoms , and all I wanted was to get better and live my life normally. P.S. he was very unprofessional and agressive.
