I saw dr Rachala for the first time today for osteoarthritis of my knees. He is very professional and his reputation is impeccable. He sat down and reviewed my lab and xrays without rushing. He explained my options thoroughly and explained complications of surgery. He answered all my questions in a kind and understanding way. He is not arrogant or dismissive. He uses robotic surgery and a pain catheter to help with pain after surgery. I trust him implicitly.

Dr. Rachala did a partial knee replacement and set my knee at an angle that caused my leg to bow out. Follow up x-rays showed my knee set at a wrong angle causing me to walk incorrectly. My ankle has now "caved in" and I am in pain whenever I stand or put weight on my leg. I would never recommend anyone has surgery performed by this man.

Dr. Rachala saved my leg. After walking on a fracture tibia for 5 weeks and getting told I had bone cancer he reconstructed my leg and reassured me it was not cancer but the bone had begun to die. He promised he would make me as I was before this injury. He kept his promise! Highly, highly recommend him! His bedside manners are amazing. He takes time and listens as if you are his only patient. TY Dr Rachala for giving me my life back!

Dr. Rachala diagnosed me in 15mins with a failed hip replacement. He didn't hesitate! I had suffered for 3.5 years until 1 day I could barely walk without a cane and PAIN. He is thorough and compassionate. His office staff patient and very professional. I was a crying mess from the pain and then complications. But they got me through it. I have no limp and no pain! My 1st replacement was 9/27/2012 and my repair 1/8/2016... go figure. Thank you Dr. Rachala!

I was hurt permanently during the (extra!) x-rays he asked for. Diagnosed a second time, although my diagnose was already there! Pushed on the surgery as the only option, while my life quality is mainly good - I am only 33- , and while the statistics of comfort after the surgery –one which is as serious as a heart surgery- that he proposed, is very low! He was not happy to hear about alternative routes, and was very negative about my future, in subjective ways = Not professional at all.

After having two hip implants by another doctor in the same leg with unsatisfactory results and pain, Dr. Rachala was recommended as the person to see. I am so pleased to have been put back together and my leg is like brand new. I have no pain and can do all the things I used to do. My legs are both the same length too. I cannot thank Dr. Rachala enough for all that he has done for me. I now recommend him to everyone who needs revision surgery.
