Condescending and rude behavior. Saw her twice too many times. She told me she wasn't going to "waste her time" finding out whether a medicine I have been prescribed for years was available in a lower dose, if I did not plan to discontinue it. She did not offer an alternative, or try to find the cause of my condition. She did not care about me or how my condition affects my life. I asked for a recommendation for a new neurologist and she did not offer me advice. A terrible experience.

Sonya Patel did not seem prepared for the appt. She did not review her new patient records before entering the room nor looked at them even during the appt until advised by patient midway. She was insensitive to the elderly patient, a bit rough, and impatient with asking & answering questions. She was rude on the phone with a follow-up call & doubted the patient's summary of symptoms until she witnessed first hand the physical changes of patient at the end of the appt.
