Absolutely phenomenal surgeon. She does explain things very quickly, so make sure to ask her to explain anything that you did not understand. She was amazing with communication. She let me text her with any questions I had after surgery, and answered all questions within a few hours, which amazed me given how busy she is. For ACL, there is nobody else to go to. I had gone to another surgeon originally, but chose Dr. Hammoud after further research. I knew from the moment she began explaining ACL surgery with such a confidence in my first appointment that she was the best surgeon for the job. Wish I could give 10 stars.

I am a 52 year old guy who is still very active. I enjoy all types of activities especially playing ice hockey and racing off road motorcycles. My activities are certainly risky and I have seen Dr Hammoud for treatment for 2 major injuries . I first met Dr Hammoud about 5.5 years ago after tearing my rotator cuff during a hockey game. And then, I saw her again this year for treatment for a torn ACL. I do not have the words to properly express the gratitude that I have for Dr Hammoud for the quality of work that she has put into my care and also how she has treated me as a person over the years. There is no question, Dr. Hammoud is an exceptionally skilled surgeon as I have had 2 exceptional outcomes. In addition, she is also someone who shows great compassion for her patients. I cannot say enough for what they have done for me. It is for these reasons that I am compelled to give Dr. Hammoud and her staff 5 stars. I would give more if I could. They are the best in the busines

My daughter needed surgery for chronic exercise induced compartment syndrome. We were referred to Dr. Hammoud who was helpful, informative and patient. She was careful to be certain of a diagnosis before jumping right to surgery and worked with other physicians and imagining centers to be certain of diagnosis and surgical necessity. Surgery was necessary and she was wonderful with my daughter and explained everything clearly and made certain we all understood the recovery phase and timeline. She is 2 months post surgery and is healing wonderfully and has been released from Dr. Hammoud’s care. I would recommend her to anyone needing an orthopedic surgeon in her area of specialty!

Dr. Hammoud combines a warm, yet no-nonsense manner with quick, smart analysis that gets to the essence of a diagnosis. I spent 15 minutes with Dr. Hammoud and felt that she provided the most reasoned, sound course of recovery for my rotator cuff tendinitis.

I am so grateful for Dr. Sommer Hammoud and I would highly recommend her. I not only completely tore my ACL, but also had a completed tear on my MCL and Dr. Hammoud did a great job. Not only did the surgery run smoothly, but she made me feel calm and confident throughout this whole process. After the surgery, she was constantly there for me and readily available to address all of my questions and concerns. She truly supported me throughout all of it and I cannot thank her enough.

She know exactly what was wrong on my first visit and had a plan of action. I immediately knew I was in good hands. She called me a few days after the surgery to make sure everything was fine and I didn’t need anything. Her staff is excellent especially Kelsey. Highly highly recommend.
