in Madisonville, LA |
I appreciate the quick appointment time and short wait upon my arrival. The doctor was very informative, personable, and professional.
in Covington, LA |
Dr. Kahn has saved my life and I am eternally grateful and blessed to have been referred to him by my primary physician. Upon my initial meeting with him, I felt completely comfortable and knew I was in the right place. His extensive training, multiple board certifications and continuing to stay current with the latest in Cardiovascular Disease, makes him and outstanding physician. Dr. Kahn educates his patients to maintain a healthy long life. I will continue to refer others to him!!!!
in Mandeville, LA |
When first meeting Dr. Khan I didn't get a great first impression. I thought he was some what cocky and erigant. It didn't take long to realize he was a great and passionate doctor. Dr. Khan took care of me and made sure we knew what he was going to do step by step. Dr. Khan is the one who talked with my husband after ever porsedure was done. I have already recommended him to everyone I talk to. He has been there for me ever since. Even with every little question.
in Carriere, MS |
As a retired RN, I appreciate Dr.Khan's honesty and factual discussion of my condition. He was thorough, very patient and very kind. He is genuinely interested in achieving optimal level of health for his patient. I was very lucky to have been referred to Dr. Khan and I recommend him highly.
in Mandeville, LA |
Dr. Khan spent a lot of time listening, explaining the diagnosis and my treatment options.
in Covington, LA |
Dr. Kahn is great. He is a straight shooter with excellent communication skills. I believe him to be very knowledgeable, honest, caring, and efficient. I would recommend him to anyone needing cardiac care.
in Covington, LA |
Dr. Khan has saved my life from heart attack more than once. Very caring ,efficient and knowledgeable . Will give you his direct and honest opinions about things that may come across rude but has always best care and interest of patient in mind. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
in Mandeville, La |
He may be a very good doctor but he is extremely rude and has no bedside manners. He was degrading of other doctor's diagnosis. Entire time I'm the exam room was less than 5 mins.
There is concern about the potential for rare but serious cardiovascular adverse events, as well as sudden cardiac death, with medications used for certain conditions in young adults . The patient was properly counseled and questions answered .
Ponchatoula, LA |
While Dr. Khan is highly knowledgeable, he is a horrible doctor. I will never go to him again nor will I ever recommend him to anyone that I actually like. The office, staff, and nurse were all wonderful people. I recommend this hospital, just not this doctor. The entire appointment was him mocking me and questioning why I choose to workout because only men should have muscles. He also claimed that I was mistaking my depression for mood swings. Horrible experience.
Extensive research has shown that exercise is an effective but often underused treatment for mild to moderate depression. Routine cardio exercise also alleviates the palpitations and boost self esteem. The health benefits of yoga and meditation were also discussed during the visit. Meditation has been shown to be a powerful treatment for relieving both stress and mild-to-moderate depression.

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
