Went to Cleveland Clinic and other doctors in Sarasota for my arrhythmia including 3 ablations, Dr. Peykar was the only one who got it corrected. I highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr Peykar saved me !! I had afib for years and the last 3 years it was horrible . I was in and out of the hospital many many times . I was seeing another Cardiologist who didn't help me at all . I had my first ablation (not by Dr Peykar ) and I felt worse . Dr Peykar did an ablation on me and it was great . He is an amazing Dr . And I must say his staff is the best . Michelle who is his assistant (nurse ) is wonderful and so helpful and Amanda is very sweet ! I highly recommend them !!. Pete A
Thank you Pete - we value your input
Poor communicator and wishy-washy. Failed to really explain options and causes of need for sleep study and/or ablation. Did not appear to have reviewed studies at time of follow-up visit scheduled for the sole purpose of reviewing studies and developing a treatment plan. Inspires no confidence.
I strive to provide the best care and communication - considerable time was spent in this patient explaining his treatment options and causes for his arrhythmia. He was given treatment options and the risk benefit of each.
Have you seen Dr. Sidney Peykar, MD?

Dr. Peykar says...

My practice focus is on catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias.  We have at our hospital facilities the latest available technologies including cryoballoon therapy.  I have performed more than 2,000 ablation sand currently am performing about ten ablations for atrial fibrillation per week.  Many patients are self referred  after suffering for years with symptoms of decreased exercise tolerance and shortness of breath.
