Dr Kamat treated me for back injuries for ten years, until I moved away. I've waited in his waiting room for over two hours for some scheduled appointments. And his office staff may not all be terribly polite, but he LISTENS! I never left his office with questions unanswered. I always felt that he genuinely cared about my wellbeing, because he asked questions to clarify my problems...and listened to me.

I don't understand how Dr. Kamat could allow such horrible people run his front office. The woman behind the glass was beyond rude and condescending. I even overheard her talking to a co worker in the same manner. She showed no sympathy toward my situation whatsoever. When I tried to ask her questions and understand what was gong on, she had the nerve to raise her voice at me. She snatched the paperwork away from me when I finished. The whole ordeal left me uncomfortable. Do not waste your time.

I appreciate Dr. Kamat. He is an awesome doctor. I feel he listens and cares about me as his patient. Its his staff , front office staff is the worst of the worst. Careless attitude and no compassion at all. Which makes me dread my appointments.
in Tampa Florida |
He is very paitent, listens and answers my questions. He was very kind when doing some test that were a little painfull but needed to determine the best course of action for me. As far as the wait time I understand that it is important to take time for each and everyone unique individual health care needs so it is never of a concern for me to want to be seen.
in Tampa, FL |
Not because he's my Dr. but he has showed me and has helped me in my diabetic problems in what to expect and how I need to follow up with taking and doing what he recommends. I like him because he explains step by step. Dr. Kamat is the doctor you would want for your health problems.
