I found Dr. Lin to be patient and kind. He was happy to answer my questions and did not appear to be rushed in any way. Dr. Lin seemed thorough in his exam as well. Dr. Lin looked at my MRI and I felt confident that he had a good grasp on my specific issues. Lastly, I felt that Dr. Lin was not urging me toward surgery, but rather explained the facts and gave me the space to make my own decisions. I would definitely recommend Dr. Lin to others when applicable.

After misdiagnosis & 6 years of excruciating Right-side facial & throat pain, I feel truly fortunate to have been referred to Dr.Lin. He spent at least 45 minutes face to face at initial appt & never doubted me for a minute. One former physician told me to see a psychiatrist after he was unable to resolve my tongue & throat pain! The psychiatrist said “why are you here? You need a doctor!” after 5 minutes. Dr Lin ordered Fiesta MRI & clearly saw the problem. I waiting to schedule MVD.

Dr. Lin saved our son's life after a traumatic brain injury. We'll be forever grateful that the doctor came from his home for this emergency, and for his years of excellent training and experience used in the 5-hour emergency brain surgery. We'll never forget Dr. Lin, nor the second chance at life that he made possible for our son.

I had a large tumor in my pituitary gland that pushed my optic nerves and made my eyesight bad. I found Dr. Lin because it would be a high-risk surgery, from what I gathered from my doctor. Dr. Lin performed a minimally invasive surgery that left no scar, and removed my tumor. My eyesight returned to normal. My hormones returned to normal. It's been 3 years and I have no recurrence. He is a great doctor. He spent lots of time before and after surgery talking with me. You won't go wrong with him.

Dr. Lin took out a large brain tumor from my daughter that saved her vision. Knowing him as a neurosurgeon also treating spine issues, so when it came to my back problem he was the one I consulted. He did a minimally invasive surgery and my leg pain completely resolved. I trust my whole family's life to this great doctor.

My primary doc sent me to him because she herself had surgery from him, and her result was much better with Dr. Lin than her other surgery with another world-renowned expert. I had bad neck problems for years and nothing else worked. Dr. Lin did anterior cervical diskectomy and fusion and my pain disappeared completely. He is everything what my doctor said of him. spent lots of time talking to me, explaining to my family, and outstanding skills in surgery. I told my friends to see him too.

I developed foot drop and leg pain in 2016. I went to see many doctors, including some famous and prominent spine surgeons, and was told that nothing could be done. I saw Dr. Lin. He correctly diagnosed my problem to be foramen stenosis, and did minimally invasive surgery to widen the foramen. He was very honest about my condition. After surgery, my foot drop and pain completely resolved in a couple of weeks. Great doctor, excellent skills, good manner. He is way above the famous names I saw.

Before seeing Dr. Lin, I saw several doctors. Each gave me different diagnosis. Dr. Lin got it right. He performed C3-4 diskectomy and fusion, and my pain and weakness got 100%. He explained to me before the surgery clearly why he made the diagnosis, and even how the other doctors arrived their conclusion. He is just great.

I had severe neck and arm pain and I actually went to see Dr. Lin's colleague first. After he found out that I had a cervical spinal tumor, he sent me to see Dr. Lin right away because it would be a difficult surgery and at a risky location. Dr. Lin spent lots of time explaining my condition. After the surgery, my pain immediately resolved, and the surgery did not result in any new problems. He is top-notch, and has great bedside manner.

I had cervical spine surgery to decompress nerve roots and replace (3) disk in my neck - C3-4.C4-5 and C5-6 on November 18, 2016. The major complaint pre-surgery was extensive pain in Right shoulder and abnormal gait accompanied by lower extremities muscle weakness. Following the procedure, I have limit use of my right arm which experienced immediate atrophy in the shoulder as well. After visiting physical therapist, it was diagnosed that possible nerve damage has occurred to my rotator cup.

I had a tumor on the inside of my spinal cord, with the goal of surgery to "save motor skills". Dr Lin was able to remove the tumor sparring the nerves and keeping 100% of my motor skills. The man is a great surgeon!
