I have gone to Dr. Cowan for many years. I find that she is a very caring and thorough doctor. She not only cares about the physical, but is compassionate about the emotional issues as well.

Would not recommend Cheryl Cowan. Does not call patients about results of lab work. That is very unethical. Do not recommend her at all.

Horrible! 1 Hour wait for a rude doctor. I went for thumb pain & said I wasn't sleeping well as my dog passed a few days earlier. She said she'd give me a presc. I went to pharmacy& presc was for Zoloft! Pharmacist was shocked & said that was NOT what I needed. I called and was told, that's her diagnosis & if I don't agree I can come back & pay for another visit and she will prescribe something else. Bad tempered and rude. FYI Doc: Zoloft is NOT for sadness over the loss of a much loved pet

DO NOT come to Dr. Cowan. Her staff is incredibly unprofessional, she will send you on multiple expenses tests/procedures with NO resolution.

When asking about price of my visit and I was on a plan through healthcare.gov the staff warned me that Dr.Cowan "doesn't like Obamacare so I wouldn't mention that". And my plan requires her (my PCP) to refer me to specialists which I told her. She dismissed that request like it wasn't her job to refer me and communicate that with my insurance company. I needed her to refer me to a dermatologist (considered a specialist with my insurance) to get a precancerous spot removed.

This doctor does not give very good treatments and her work is shabby. Should not be in the Medical Profession.

After weeks of incapacitating pain, inaccurate diagnoses, 2 weeks of in-patient rehab and multiple ER visits, a kind person at the ER suggested I make an appointment with a GP who could take my case and coordinate specialists for me. Within 5 minutes of the office visit she had a trial diagnosis and asked how soon I could be admitted to the hospital. She and Dr. Diane Litke would not stop until the complete diagnosis and treatment plan were established. Long wait? She's worth it!

Waited longer than 45 mins for a scheduled appt two appts in a row. Nothing is digital, everything is done without computers or technology. She's condescending, impatient and a very poor listener; basically, her bed side manner could use some serious improvement. Never calls back and office is terrible at processing any type of request (referrals, prescription refills). I will never go back to this office that is stuck in 1950s.

I've gone to Dr. C for years now, and I don't plan on changing anytime soon. Someone on here commented saying that she is a dealer. Dr. C prescribes what you need so you can feel better, and get back to work/life. She DOESN'T TAKE ADVANTAGE of patients like this person is suggesting. Also, don't complain about a doc not wanting to just fill out paperwork on a physical performed by some other doc. This is an amazing doctor, she makes sure you understand, and keeps you informed with your health.

I would give this a zero if I could. I felt like she didn't care about me as a person at all, and only wanted to try to get me schedule as many appointments as she could. I had to get some health paperwork done, and instead of being able to just drop it off, she made me schedule an appointment to fill out the paperwork for a physical that I had already had. She also gave me a lot of trouble about renewing my birth control prescription. I am getting a new doctor.
