Fifteen minutes after the scheduled appointment she starts the call, then immediately proceeds to berate me for being impatient. She goes on about how she's had to wait over an hour to see her physicians and that if I'm going to act the way I am that I should seek out another physician. I'm not sure how I gave the impression that I was being impatient, I only sent a few messages, one saying that I was excited to meet her, one where I answered a question she asked about what time my appointment was, and the third asking if now was a bad time for her. But she stated that it was wrong for me to blow up her messages when she's trying to see other patients? I get that she has multiple clients, but for her to hop onto the call and start borderline yelling at me was completely unprofessional, and she's supposed to be a psychiatrist, a specialist practicing in MENTAL health...

You would expect a doctor, especially one supposedly versed in the intricacies of psychiatry, to understand the importance of psychiatric medication. What I mean by this is it’s downright appalling that whenever I am running low on important medication that she prescribes, she will deny my refill until she sees me and gets her $40 dollars for the virtual visit. And anyone who has gone through mental health issues understands the importance of maintaining the correct dosage of these meds as suicide ideation is a prominent side effect when the medication is abruptly stopped. I highly suggestion seeing someone who understands how this process works as she doesn’t seem too.

Run away from this doctor!! She never returns calls even when told 3 times that her patient is suicidal! When he did attempt suicide, she never called to see if he was alive or how he was! Uncaring and fails to follow up! She pretends to care but doesnt!

Terrible psychiatrist, very vain and has a bad bedside manner. Always commented on my looks, once saying my ‘shoes were interesting.’ Don’t let her pretty face full you, she is FULL of herself, even the front desk staff would say things about her. Waste of money and time in her precious white leathered office in OMG so chic Windermere.

I tried to make things work with her but from the beginning I didn’t feel a connection with her. She tries to get you in and out of her office. If you have a medical energy she wont call you back or call your doctor back. Seriously invest your money on someone that cares.

I have been a patient of Dr. Parvez for over two years. At first the office ran smoothly. In the last three weeks of my life, she decided to take me off sleeping medication. I tried calling her office when I noticed the negative effects of sleep deprivation. I tried calling, 3 times. Each time I left a message with a different prompt, press 1 etc, still no answer. My therapist even called to address the situation and he has yet to hear back from this office. So I decided my only option left was

Doesn't listen to patient. Pushes brand name drugs. Interrupts often when you are talking. Left her shoes off for the visit which was unprofessional. My ER dr / attending in hospital tried to reach her and they never returned the calls.

She helped me to come controlled meds that I was on more than 12 years. My previous psychiatrist used to write script & session was no more than five mins, never discussed negative effects on me. Dr. Sherin was able to pinpoint my problem from the very beginning, she helped me to choose right meds. I got my life back. I’m greatful to her.

I saw Sherin Parvez in 10/2017, and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a medical professional. I am a board certified internal medicine, pulmonary and critical care physician, so I have a decent medical background. I trusted her and gave her intimate details of my life and in return she was arrogant, authoritative, presumptive, confrontational and lacked some of the basic medical knowledge and attention to detail I would expect of a psychiatrist.
