What People Say About Dr. Sheri Bisby, MD

Despite two years of "treatment" by Dr. Bisby I'm no better than when I started. She performed test after test, prescribed one expensive pill after another, and lots of them, and them when I didn't feel better wanted to do the tests all over again. I left the practice and went to another doctor only to find out she ignored my problem all together. It was in black & white in the bloodwork paperwork she gave me copies of that I have an autoimmune disease, but she kept insisting on testing for a neurological one (the VERY PAINFUL spinal tap).

Dr. Bisby certainly is an unconventional "character". I can live with that. But when diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, her main "cure" was to purchase bottles of vitamin water and drink 2 each day. My final 2 visits with her left me waiting for over 2 hours in a very hostile and upset waiting room full of people with not enough chairs to seat them all. I left each time and never returned.

The wait time is horrible with this dr. I have been there as long as 2 hours for appointments. Office staff are not welcoming. Also think she pushes pills that we don’t need.

Dr. Bisby is an amazing doctor. She treated me with compassion, and kindness. When you are with her, you are the only person she is thinking about. She treated my disease better than any doctor since I was diagnosed 8 years ago.

As a medical professional with 40 years in neurocritical I found her to be one of the most unprofessional neurologists I’ve met. She quickly became angry with pertinent questions and was not willing to put the welfare of her patient before her own ego. I was more than disappointed in her management of my father. Be prepared to be challenged when asking appropriate and pointed questions.... she angrily walked out of the appointment and fired my father as a patient. MD’s are to do no harm.

Found the reception staffer so rude I decided to leave. I had filled out all of the new patient information but left a few items blank, such as former occupation and marital info. It's none of their business and I explained that if the the doctor needed to know, I would share this info with her personally. That was not good enough for the receptionist who said they could not accept me unless I filled out this info. I left. I have been at veterinarians who have showed more respect & courtesy.

This Doctor is a danger to each person that enters her office. She misdiagnosed me and treated me aggressively for a disease I didn't even have. She has caused me much damage. Please do not go to this woman ever.
