Left msg to schedule appt but after several hours gave up waiting for call back I drove to the office and was able to get an appt. About an hour later they called and was able to fit me in that same day. Very satisfied with Dr’s diagnosis.

Dr Martin was clearly disinterested in helping me. After waiting nearly 1.5 hours, he spent less than 3 minutes with me, did not give me the opportunity to ask questions or express concerns. A visit summary, "reach up. reach out. reach back. Yes, it's frozen shoulder, I'm going to give you a shot, prescription, and referal to OrthaArizona's PT" and he walked out. A nurse came in and setup the accessories for the shot, it was another 10-15 minutes before I heard a nurse tell Dr Martin that "the patient" is waiting, to which he replied, "what patient?" When he did return, without a word he prepped my shoulder, jabbed me with the needle, moved my arm around, then left with a "you're all set." Overall, my visit to OrthoArizona was almost 2 hours of which less than 5 minutes was spent with a doctor who had zero interest in me, or my concerns, and who made me feel like I was an imposition in his day. Additionally, I heard a similarly curt & cold conversation with the patient next door.

Went to see Dr Martin for my 15 year old son who had a ruptured ACL. Dr Martin took the time explain the different options we had and made sure I understood everything clearly. Surgery went exactly as planned and I would highly suggest you consider Dr Martin for your orthopedic needs.

Horrible patient care. Quick to diagnose and didn’t take time to explain what was going on with my knee. He just wanted to get to the next patient. I was bummed that it was just physical therapy. Then he said we will throw everything at it (cortisone shot, et ). I asked the staff if this is normal. They made excuses that he is just very direct.

Dr. Martin helped me with "2" shoulder replacements! The first was successful, but contracted a Staph infection due to something not sterile in the OR. He took a very personal approach to repairing the shoulder again, and I know have my 2nd replacement and couldn't be happier! He's a #1, Top Surgeon and honest about everything. I'd recommend him to anyone and everyone, as well as his staff!

I had a terrible experience with Shelden Martin, it took me almost 2 hours to get in and out of there and he couldn't be bothered to spend 5 minutes with me. He cut me off when I tried to speak, he spoke down to me, and then while I was asking him questions he already started walking out the door and left mid-sentence. I had x-rays and he didn't go over those with me at all. I will never come back here and will be sure to share this review on the site, google and feedback on Shelden Martin. His bedside manner is a joke and someone in pain deserves his time. Courtney Miles

When I approached the check in, the greeting was friendly and professional. My what was short to begin the process. I was very glad x-rays were taken, showed outstanding professionalism in diagnosing the issues I have. Meeting Dr Shelden Martin for the first time was encouraging and gave me a great feeling that I was going to be in good hands. He explained the possible surgery I was going to be looking at, and because I'll be looking at multiple joint replacements layed out the way he was going to proceed. I felt very comfortable I was in good hands.
