Nature of Complaint:
The physician allegedly failed to properly perform various surgical procedures to correct urinary difficulties in three patients and failed to promptly and appropriately treat postoperative complications following those procedures.
The physician has Voluntarily Surrendered her license to practice medicine and surgery in the State of Wisconsin and shall not reapply for licensure in the future.
January 20, 2010 – Amended Order
The Wisconsin Medical Examining Board has ORDERED that the Stipulation of the parties is accepted and supersedes and replaces the Final Decision and Order issued on March 19, 2008.
It is further ORDERED that the voluntary surrender of the license of the physician to practice medicine and surgery in the State of Wisconsin, which was effective on March 19, 2008 and remains in effect.
It is further ORDERED that in the event the physician seeks to reapply for a license to practice medicine and surgery in the State of Wisconsin at any time in the future, she shall comply with specific conditions.
It is further ORDERED that if the physician reapplies for a license to practice medicine and surgery in Wisconsin, and that the request is granted, she shall pay the costs of the administrative proceeding in the amount of $3,000.00 prior to the license being issued.
