I was able to get an appointment and schedule my procedure seamlessly. Dr Rana may have more time for friendly chitchat at the office but I personally value his focused approach in the surgery center.

Yesterday my husband had a screening colonoscopy with Dr. Rana at Platte Valley Medical Center. If I could give this Dr. a negative star I would!! He barely acknowledged my husband, other than to ask his name and tell him where to sign the paper work. He then left the pre procedure holding area without even a good by. We were told it would take 30 minutes for the procedure, My husband left at 9:10 and was back in the 'recovery" area at 9:28. He found and removed 2 very small polyps.

My hubby had a procedure by Dr. Rana, who we only saw briefly before and after the procedure. Dr. Rana was pleasant, polite, but "all business", namely, "get-'em in, and get 'em out". When I didn't want to shake hands with him, before the procedure, he asked "Why?" I said I didn't want to share germs with him, to prevent spreading germs. He asked, "Are you sick?" I said, no, just didn't want to cause "nosocomial" (hospital acquired) infections. He never asked what I meant...
