This manuscript outlines pain that is a common feature of ocular motor cranial nerve palsies from presumed microvascular ischemia; however, the natural history of pain in this condition has not been studied. The purpose of this report is to define the temporal profile and severity of pain in isolated microvascular ocular motor cranial nerve palsies (MP), with special reference to diabetics versus nondiabetics.

Care Philosophy

Our founders envisioned building a premier eye-care practice by combining the talents of board-certified specialists in a wide range of eye conditions and diseases. They also made a commitment to stay at the forefront of technology and treatment options. Their vision quickly became reality. Today, our twelve physicians have dedicated themselves to treating each patient with the most ethical, compassionate, highest-quality care possible. In turn, our patients have trusted us to perform more than 150,000 cataract and laser procedures. Mid Florida Eye Center was named "Best Ophthalmology Group Practice in Central Florida" in the 14th Annual Florida Medical Business Awards. Most importantly, our physicians, specialists and staff are committed to providing the most dedicated care in all aspects of ophthalmology. Our website enables patients to communicate with our staff. It also allows patients to access their personal patient portal and education related to their eye condition and disease.
