Just had cataract surgery, with a new "premium" lens...I'm so excited I can see leaves on the trees again, colors are so vibrant. Many thanks to the gifted eye surgeon Dr. Sharron Acosta for making me see clearly again!!!

BEST EYE EXAM EVER. Dr. Acosta, was very thorough and the exam was painless. She performed something called a DFE (dilated fundus exam haha learnt something new). This is where they put dilating drops in your eyes so they can look at your retina, luckily mine was normal. They told me if they don't dilate your eyes, they would not be able to tell if I had conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration. They showed me a wide field picture of the inside of my eye, and gave me a copy to take home!

Went to this dr with an eye injury. In the exam room, a technician put dilating drops in my eyes. My eye was obviously injured and the tech. knew it. When I saw the dr, he said my eye was healing and they were dry, prescribed drops that cost $100. I saw him for no more than 3 mins. max! I couldn't afford the drops. My eyes were then blurry and sensitive for two wks. Read label of dilating drops and learned they aren't good for injured or dry eyes! I couldn't see for 2 wks! They charged $275!
