Sharon E. Selinger, MD, FACP, FACE was Chief of the Endocrine Section for ten years at Overlook Hospital, which is part of the Atlantic Health System. She specializes in Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism and Internal Medicine. She graduated from the Cornell University Medical College with a medical degree.
Dr. Selinger completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Her sub-specialty program in Endocrinology and Metabolism at NYU Medical Center, New York, included pituitary research.
She is a board certified internist and board certified specialist in Endocrinology and Metabolism.Dr. Selinger has been in clinical practice since 1987. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE). She is the President of the New Jersey chapter of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. She has had faculty appointments at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and at NYU Medical College. Dr. Selinger is currently faculty at Mount Sinai Medical School. She has also been appointed Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.
