I studied at Duke as an undergraduate and loved the area so much I convinced my family to move down. I am very proud of the care that all of Duke Health provides. I completed a primary care residency at Cornell University to be a primary doctor and a clinician educator. My patients know I stress lifestyle changes over diets exercise that is fun and that I love preventative medicine. I teach medical students and residents and lead the internal medicine residency at Duke Primary Care Pickett Road. It is rewarding to see young doctors mature and become the future of medicine. I practice what I preach and exercise with swimming running and biking. I have participated in 5K and triathlons. I love to read all kinds of books and listen to a capella music and musicals. I make scrapbooks for my son and love being with my family.
