Don't feel cared for
After learning that I was in the process of miscarriage, I was given three options. Surgical, pill, or wait and let it happen naturally. I chose to wait. I had gone through a miscarriage just a few months before on my own and knew what to expect. I asked for some medication to ease the pain during the process and she said "it only lasts a few hours" . Never have I felt more dismissed by someone who should know exactly how horrible what I was about to go through was. Now I am switching doctors in the middle of a miscarriage. No fun.

Wouldn’t recommend. My experience with her was horrible. Find someone who really cares about you and the well being of your unborn child.

My first time at Abington Hospital and women’s care today and I seen Dr. Sharon Rice. I have been driving myself crazy trying to have a OBGYN Doctor listen to what is going on with me. Until today when Dr. Rice actually listened to me and cared about what I was telling her and ordered some test to be done. She is an amazing doctor and I would definitely recommend her to others. Her staff are also very pleasant and welcoming.

Horrible! Drove an hour and 45 minutes in horrible rain storm and traffic to get there. I was 15 minutes late for my appointment. I called repeatedly and no one would answer to let them know. I walk in and tell them i was stuck for 1hour 45 minutes and she says i guess you have to reschedule. No consideration that every road was flooded and i left work early and sat on road that long. What doctor doesn't give you a 15 minute window. The office girl was rude and unsympathetic. I will not go back.

While I like all of the physicians in this practice, Dr. Rice has always been my favorite. She spends time with me, answering all of my questions, and seems to really enjoy the work she does. I was lucky enough to have her deliver my second baby 2 years ago. The baby came quicker than expected and I wasn't able to have the epidural I had with my first baby. I was so scared, but Dr. Rice guided me through the entire process and helped me to prepare both physically and mentally. Love her!

I like dr rice; she's relaxed and any questions I have she answers thoroughly; at one point I was gaining weight rather rapidly ( thank goodness I halted that !) and she seemed very concerned about me. I always go to see her specifically. I've been going to womencare since 1998 and I had only one negative experience in all that time. The good thing is if you don't like one particular doctor you can request another specifically. I definitely recommend womencare; I prefer dr. Rice.
