Dr. Gross completed a Doctorate degree in Biochemistry ( Ph.D.) prior to attending Medical School at the University of Miami school of Medicine. Residency and fellowship training at Harvard Medical School in Boston was completed at the Beth Israel Deaconess and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary ( Ophthalmology Dept associated with the Massachusetts General Hospital). Dr. Gross was appointed Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at University of Maryland Medical School, has research experience in Biochemistry and Ophthalmology and has taught residents in Ophthalmology at The University of Maryland and Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Dr. Gross is now in private practice in Baltimore in order to devote all of her time to taking care of her patients. Her special interests include all causes of Dry Eye , irritative conditions affecting the eye and contact lens related problems and fitting. Dr. Gross also treats Glaucoma , cataracts and Diabetics. She has a personalized approach to your care which involves evaluating your entire medical history and focusing on nutrition and lifestyle modification to achieve optimal health.
