Dr. Dixit graduated with his Doctorate in Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. He completed his Neurology Residency Program, Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology, and Fellowship in Clinical Stroke at the University of Wisconsin Hospital. He is Board Certified in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology. He is highly trained in Epilepsy, Stroke and Cerebrovascular diseases. He is a respected member of the American Academy of Neurology. During his years as a fellow and a staff neurologist, Dr. Dixit trained medical students and neurology residents. He has also completed original research on various neurological disease states. He has held the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine, Neurology Division, for the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Regional Director for the Veterans Administration Parkinson's Disease Research Center, and Medical Director for the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Sunrise Hospital. Dr. Dixit's research has been published in various national and international journals. He is a nationally recognized speaker on Epilepsy, Headache and Stroke.
