I struggled with lower back pain for years even after physical therapy. My pain had reached a point where it was impacting my daily life. The scariest part of my day was bending over to tie my shoes in the morning. After an MRI at Polaris, diagnosis and treatment by Dr Mangrum my back pain to this point has been completely eliminated. Dr Mangrum is great and if you’re having back issues I can only encourage to reach out to Dr Mangrum and don’t wait.

I had a great experience with Dr. Mangrum at Polaris Spine and Neurosurgery. Most importantly, my excruciating back pain was alleviated. Dr Mangrum had an excellent clinical approach. He took his time and answered all of my questions. My office visits were very pleasant. They were prompt, have a beautiful office space. The staff is friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this practice.

I just started seeing Dr. Mangrum after quite a long history with many other providers. Our telemedicine appointments have been efficient and informative. He really listens and acts as a thought partner. It's a dynamic process in which I feel respected and validated.

I learned of Dr. Mangrum through my wife who had become one of his patients and was quite pleased with the results of his treatments. When I later experienced shoulder pain then, still later, hip pain, I went to see Dr. Mangrum. Although both conditions ended up requiring surgeries, Dr. Mangrum was able to relieve pain temporarily then refer me to surgeons with whom I was pleased. He is a man of great integrity and competence. I trust him entirely.

Dr. Mangrum is an excellent doctor, my son had a procedure done recently and the results were a dramatic difference from his last physician. Dr. Mangrum’s straight forward diagnosis was exceptional. He is also kind, patient, and an active listener, asking questions and providing feedback while he pinpoints the problem, and offers treatment options. I would not go to any other doctor for any back issues. I feel that we are fortunate to have him here in Georgia.

He sat right next to me on the exam table and explained my MRI results, potentials causes of my pain and numbness. He LISTENED to what I was saying and was really interested in helping me feel better. I never felt rushed. I've only gone for evaluation visit so far but I expect to continue to be impressed!

Polaris Spine is a state-of-the art medical practice and its clinicians are tops in their field. I saw Shane Mangrum, MD, who took charge of my sciatica and provided a very comprehensive evaluation. Dr. Mangrum listened to my concerns and completed a thorough exam of my neck and shoulder. He discussed my treatment options with me and answered any questions that I had. Dr. Mangrum is always very kind and patient. He does whatever he can to help me with my pain. I couldn't imagine the Queen of England getting any better treatment that I did! Dr. Mangrum and his staff are the BEST!

Dr. Mangrum is greatly missed in Idaho Falls. When he had his practice here, I felt like I had a true friend who cared about my well being. He listened, offer great advice and sound solutions, was always prompt and professional and always gave great options. His procedures to remedy my back pain were always spot on. The folks who took over his office in Idaho Falls are an absolute nightmare to deal with. We miss you Shane!!

The best place EVER!!!! My experience with EVERYONE associated with this office has been nothing but top notch. Dr. Steuer....Dr. Mangrum and Tiffany Langeman (PA-C) have treated me with the best care and respect. They have each been so patient....understanding....and just fabulous. I would also like to give a huge shout out to Meagan....Medical Secretary to Dr. Shane Mangrum and Tiffany Langeman. Tiffany has gone far and beyond to help me with appts...medical records etc.!!! Perfect!!

Dr. Mangrum is an excellent doctor. He truly possesses ALL the qualities a patient looks for in a physician. His knowledge of his specialty is technologically current and exceptional. Although my back has been nearly non-responsive to treatment by numerous doctors thus far, I feel relieved, optimistic, and confident having found Dr. Mangrum
