I had an appointment to see Dr. Shan Tang because of a note of a possible problem with my throat area; discovered on a CT scan. She was a super physician. She explained everything to me and she has a great doctor/patient interation or bedside manner (as they call it). If you ever have the need to see a good ENT physician ~ Dr. Shan Tang is the one to see. The staff at her facility was also awesome.

Dr Shan Tang is an excellent OTO provider, for my thinking. She listens, then examines one, and then does her Dx. Extremely personable . Could not ask for better.

Friendly and yet professional. Didn't talk down to us. Didn't seem to mind me paraphrasing medical jargon I had learned while I was researching our problem before seeing her. She actually listened with patience when I reported my findings from my own research. When it looked as if she couldn't find the root problem, she suggested we get a second opinion from UNC, and had her staff set it up. Most doctors I have seen wouldn't do that. She is by far the best Doctor I have ever seen for any reason.
