I have seen Dr. Wyckoff several times for my CRPS. In previous appointments, I had always felt like she had NO bedside manner and completely lacked any empathy. I'm a little late today, and there was an issue at the reception that had me check-in 25 minutes late. I try to explain but her nurse was condescending and said: "too bad you missed your appointment the doctor won't see you." She asks if I would like to see the doctor, I say yes. The doctor comes and says come back, but stops just inside the door from reception, I explained my situation responds with "well you're late and that's kaiser policy" and "well that's too bad, you need to reschedule, I plead with her, she walks away. It's clear that Dr. S Wycoff thinks that its an honor to be in her presence and that we are all beneath her. She thinks patients pain and issues don't matter and that she is the center of the world. DO NOT SEE Dr. Shamolie N. Wycoff in Duluth, Georgia Kaiser Permanente

She was knowledgeable about my symptoms and what to do about the pain, but reduced my pain medication, and I felt mistreated by her tone. When I told her of a very specific incident and the pain it causes 18 yrs later, she told me I was wrong, and then started in on when humans' TAILS FELL OFF before we evolved! She may have evolved, but I did not! Uhm...no, bye.

Saw this doctor for the first time and just felt she was more interested in stating a predetermined explanation of pain syndromes rather than treating me as a person. She asked very little about my condition but explained everything about pain, exercise, PT, weight loss and a diet plan, etc. That was fine except I was in such severe pain that I needed treatment, not a speech. No testing set to determine where we are now. Reduced my pain meds and gave me Savella. Disappointed and time off work.
