What People Say About Dr. Shakeel Chowdhry, MD

Dr. Chowdry has been taking care of me for years. He understands the hardships patients face, and his staff is as professional as he is. Many physicians become depressed when they are emotionally overwhelmed by what their patients go through. He's a brillant physician who really cares about his patients. Some physicians will try to avoid compassionate burn out in various ways some see it as arrogance. I have seen Dr. Chowdry work hard to avoid sending me through another surgery. Ed Green

Dr Chowdhry operated on me on at 8 a.m.on a Sunday after I was diagnosed with osteomyelitis the night before and removed an abscess from my vertebrae. He no doubt saved my life. He was pleasant, informative, and thoroughly let me know about the surgery.

Arrogant, selfish doctor with terrible bedside manner. Shakeel Chowdhry thinks anyone who is not himself is not worth his time. Personally witnessed him being disrespectful to and dismissive of his hardworking staff, and condescending to his patients. While it seems he may be technically skilled, his compassion and people skills leave much to be desired.

He saved my BF, Robert E. Hofstadter's Life by operating on his Brain. Bob is a joker and many of his friends even wondered if he HAD a Brain in the 1st plAce, but after a fall that manifested itself in to "Blood on The Brain" in which I (as his live-in girlfriend) only heard of "Water on The Brain", Bob was whisked into Surgery on Sept 5 & by the time he was OUT could speak. What Golden Hands, Dr. Chowdhry has. Bob was lucky to have Dr. Chowdhry go to bat - the Definition of a True Hero.
