Dr. Satpute earned his medical degree from the University of Pune in Central India. He came to the U.S. in 2002 to pursue his PhD at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, spent a year as a post-doctorate fellow at Johns Hopkins and received residency training at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, New York. Dr. Satpute brings more than 13 years of clinical experience to The Jones Clinic. He recently completed his Fellowship at Indiana University in Indianapolis with a special clinical research focus on Breast and Genitourinary Oncology. His focus at The Jones Clinic is General Hematology and Medical Oncology. Dr. Satpute chose the field of oncology because of the close doctor/patient relationships. The Jones Clinic's strong patient focus was one of the key factors in his decision to join the team. Dr. Satpute is triple board certified in internal medicine, Oncology and Hematology.
