From the time I sat down in the waiting room to seeing the Dr. was 15 minutes! Dr. Maheshwari was, kind, patient, answered all my questions, had a plan for me to follow and tests scheduled. The staff was very nice and engaging. The overall experience was a 10! Kari Schneider 11-8-2018

This Dr. bedside manner is NOT good. When giving a diagnosis to a patient, it is important to have patience while the patient is trying to process the information. Dr. M became very annoyed when we were trying to understand what he was telling us.

I had a horrible experience with this doctor. He was annoyed when I had a return follow up appointment due to my symptoms getting worse. I had lost over 20 pounds in 2 weeks without trying or knowing why and didn't seem to care. It seems like he just tries to rush through patients and cram as many as possible without taking time with them. I cannot state this more strongly, stay as far away from this doctor as possible. If I would have not seen other doctors then I would still be chronicall

Dr. Maheshwari did not ask anything in regards to the current problem- instead, he started giving suggestions on OTC medicines and food supplements besides suggesting endoscopy and ultrasound for gall bladder- I am wondering how a doctor could suggest these test without asking enough questions to rule out other possibilities. He could not answer even simple question on blood test- and he refers yeast as bacteria - I would suggest to stay away from this doctor. DESERVES NEGATIVE RATING

Dr. Maheshwari saved my life! I went in for a routine colonoscopy. During our consult, he asked about my medical history. I'm healthy, nothing much to discuss. I mentioned that 30 years ago during my last pregnancy I was told that I had developed a hiatal hernia but it didn't bother me that much. He asked if he could scope me while I was under. He saw something, did a biopsy, it was cancer. Esophageal gastric cancer, stage 1. He sent me to MD Anderson. Tumor has been removed. Forever grateful!
