My father went to Dr Ahmed. She was out for his routine visit so he had to see the NP. My father was treated with absolutely no respect as a human by this person and treated as though he was incompetent. As a healthcare worker myself I find how he was treated appalling and recommended to him to change physicians.

DR. Ahmed's deliberate lack of follow-up on critical medical issues is only superseded by her arrogance‘! Her office staff is grossly inefficient – – – making an appointment takes four or five telephone attempts and messages left by us went invariably unreturned ! Edward and Katie Burnham if you have any specific questions feel free to email me @edwardburnham93@gmail.com

Instead of treating a condition, they simply pass you on to specialists, wasting time and money. TERRIBLE communication and a total lack of follow up. I’m leaving after several months, several appointments, and way too much frustration with the office.

I am a patient over 15 years. She is an excellent listener and makes one feel at ease. She answers questions unlike most doctors that just write scripts. Very thorough. Never feel rushed. she is great---but the appointment center that takes call ins---not so good.

I love Dr. Ahmed. Unfortunately, everything else about this office is terrible. When you call for an appointment, expect to wait on hold for, at least, 20 minutes. If you instead press 1 to leave a message for a call-back, chances are 50/50 that anyone will call you back. My father needed a referral for home health, and I had to go in there early on a Friday morning to request it, because I was on hold for 25 minutes, and then they picked up and disconnected. My father is in assisted living, and needs a skilled nurse right away. By Monday morning, I called the home health agency and they hadn't gotten the referral. I called the doctor's office back and found out the 3rd party agency that is supposed to process it hadn't done anything yet.

Dr. Ahmed helped me deal with a myriad of health issues I have. She keeps up with everything. I see her every three months and if I need to see her sooner I call and they can usually get me seen the next day. I do miss the fact that she no longer goes to the hospitals when you are admitted. It is hard to be in the hospital and have to see a "hospitalist" while I am there. They do not know me like she does, but I do understand she needs a life too. Great doctor. I do recommend her to anyone.

She is everything a doctor should be. Caring, knowledgeable about the issues you are having, takes the time you deserve to have with a doctor. Never feel rushed, and her APRN gives you the same feeling. I am blessed to have such an amazing team of medical professionals!!!

Cheryl in Ellenton, FL – Jun 24, 2019
Dr Ahmed does not seem to care about a patients emotional well being. Today I left her office crying because she was upset that I was unhappy about having to come in to see her for an appt because I was depressed and wanted a prescription for an antidepressant. I'm a pharmacist and Dr Ahmed never asked me why I was depressed, instead she just proceeded to berrate me for even considering that she should write me a prescription without being seen. Why couldn't we have talked on the phone? When I told her I was on a high end deductible insurance, she basically told me it was my problem. Instead of comfort, she told me to find another doctor. In fact, she allowed me, a depressed patient, to leave her office in extremely upset&crying My husband of 39 years has been fighting CRC. We have a myraid of appts, and one more appt just send me over the edge. When I got home today I noticed on the Bradenton Physician portal that they have Teledoc. Why didn't they offer it to me??

Dr. Ahmed was once a physician I highly respected and stood out amongst the masses of doctors for her great moral character, patience and most importantly her sincere care for her patients.. Sadly, today her lack of care, concern and patience fails to exist.. Her overall beside manner has diminished. I would no longer recommend her services as a physician. Thank you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ahmed for over 12 years and have never felt as much confidence and trust in any of my previous doctors. Dr. Ahmed actually REALLY listens to you and responds to your concerns, She has a great memory (or keeps great notes) about my history, not just the diagnosis but my questions, feelings and concerns about my health over the years. She also is highly regarded by other healthcare professionals as a hands on doctor.

Very poor. I went to her needing help. Dr Ahmed was rude and unprofessional. Did not address any medical problem I had. Was more interested in telling me I lied about a paper I had dropped off. I did not lie. I'm a grown professional woman. She degraded me for no reason. Don't go to her. And I believe she is deleting negative comments about her.

This is the rudest doctor I have ever been too. I needed help and she totally blew me off. I would never trust this woman. She could have placed my health in jeopardy. Thank gosh I found someone else who truly cares. Do not give her the time of day. I'm still shocked a doctor would ever act like she did. I'll be filing complaint with the board also.
