Not sure about the other reviews...if something fishy is going on, but I found him a very competent doctor. Having just moved from SC this was my first time visiting UofR and this practice. He took labs and adjusted my dosage. I feel good having him as my doctor in the care of my thyroid cancer.

Dr. Charatz is the most rude and unprofessional endocrinologist that I have every had! He doesn't give you a check up or check your feet. He is condescending and is not sympathetic to his patients. The appointments are about 10 minutes long. AVOID HIM!

Impatient and condescending. Doesn't really care about his patients and just wants to bill for everything.

He may not have spent an enormous amount of time with me but his NP spent an hour doing an exam and then 10 minutes going over my case with him before he came in. I felt they were very thorough and I feel confident my health will improve under his care

Bland, Boring, Not Personal, Wants to get the appointment over as fast as possible. Relies heavily on his nurses, I assume because no one wants to see him....Seriously though, hands down the worst endocrinologist I've had in my 24 years of having diabetes. Doesn't seem educated in much of anything....Read More
