I found his office staff friendly, efficient, & polite. Dr. Mather was very informative & spent lots of time with me. He explained everything thoroughly & did not rush the appt.

While doctor himself seems to be decently knowledgeable, the staff and whole repor of this office is awful.I've had multiple issues starting from them not filling my prescription to begin with then after calling 3 times I had to go into the office to get them to fill it. I tried to get them to fill a new type of test strip and they kept on not filling it after not 1 but 8 phone calls the nurse (Lindsey) called said insurance doesn't cover when they did. she was being lazy not doing paperwork

Dr. M always seems interested in me and my conditions. He asks a lot of questions. He is very low key and soft spoken. I like him. His office help however is terrible, not efficient at all. Some times they never get back with you when you have a question. It takes a series of calls to get action. I have been thinking of changing doctors office for a while.

Dr Mather was very through and patient. Sent a great deal of time with me on my first visit.

Love Dr. Mather but his staff and management have forgotten about customer service and patient care! Dr. Mather's check out girl was extremely RUDE and the office manager allowed it! SHAME ON YOU! YOUR PATIENTS SHOULD COME FIRST. I think because this office is more of an assembly line, they have forgotten the "golden rules" of a medical practice. There are plenty of other physician offices that still have that patient care standard. I would recommend them before going to this office!
in Ft Myers, FL |
Dr. Mather is great but his office staff is rids, inconsiderate, and uncaring for the feelings of his patients. If you ask to speak with a specific person, they take it upon themselves to transfer your call to another department because they think they know what you want. I tried to return a call to a member of his staff for over 2 hours and could never get through. Staff doesn't have voice mail. They deal with cancer patients and are the worst people I have ever dealt with.

I have only been to the office once, but the after all my test results came in, I had to call numerous times to get an answer from the provider. Then after over 4 phone calls for results instead of the provider calling me to explained the diagnosis and discuss the course of therapy, the nurse called me and flat out told me what I have. No explanations other than your prescriptions will be called in. I went to the pharmacy to pick up the scripts and they were never called.
